Dr. Anwesha Sarkar

I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Integrative Tissue Biology Lab, Technische Universität Darmstadt, supported by the Future Talent Guest Research Stay Scholarship. I completed my PhD in Translational and Computational Biology at University College Dublin, where my research focused on understanding the cellular uptake of indocyanine green in colorectal cancer models using advanced 3D spheroid systems. My work bridges translational biology, computational imaging, and tumour microenvironment research, with experience in 3D tumor modelling technologies, live-cell imaging, and automated bioimage analysis. I have presented my findings at international conferences and contributed to peer-reviewed publications.
