Teodora Nazare M.Sc.

Teodora Nazare is a doctoral candidate in the Integrative Tissue Biology Lab, where she investigates tumor angiogenesis using an innovative on-chip system. The main focus is on the composition of fibrin-based hydrogels and the effects of flow and growth factors on angiogenesis.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s in Synthetic Biology, and is passionate about tissue engineering—particularly the integration of interdisciplinary methods to better mimic physiological systems in vitro. Her work aims to contribute to more predictive and ethical models for biomedical research and therapeutic development.
