Ecology and Biodiversity
From Organisms to Ecosystems

Short summary

Ecology and Biodiversity is one of three research foci of the Department of Biology at the TU Darmstadt. It covers various aspects of biodiversity research, behaviour, functional morphology, biotic interactions, ecological networks, evolution and biogeography. Our members are involved in several collaborative networks and run important facilities to explore and study organisms on all levels. The international study programme M.Sc. Ecology and Biodiversity forms the core of our educational efforts and qualifies students from around the world in organismic biology and ecosystem research.
